Psychoeducational Assessments
Assessments provide a snapshot of your learning style, information regarding strengths and weaknesses, and allow for recommendations to help improve learning and academic performance. While assessments are generally done for students, to discover reasons for academic challenges, they can also be helpful for adults to understand their learning profile and consider strategies for success. Screening for ADHD and other mental health conditions is part of the full assessment for children.

The assessment typically includes several appointments. An intake appointment is to go over the assessment process and gather some background information about your child. There are typically 3 appointments with your child to conduct the assessment. The testing includes the WISC-V, WIAT-III, and BASC-3. We may include an additional instrument if it is needed, but typically these 3 are enough. Finally we will meet and go over the results of the assessment and answer any questions.

The intake appointment is typically an hour. Each assessment with your child is up to two hours depending on breaks and the pace your child needs. They are welcome to bring snacks and water to the testing appointments and guests/parents are free to relax in the waiting room and have a coffee or leave and return once the appointment is completed.

The total cost for the assessment is $3200. If you have insurance, it can be covered under psychological services. The first and last appointments can be billed under your name, and the testing appointments under your child.
